The newest condo to hit the market in south Redondo Beach is a rare studio condo in The Village. The reason they are so rare is that there are only six studio units per building (majority are 1 bedrooms). The studios are the furthest east in the buildings so unfortunately views are from further back. That said the 640 building is basically one level higher than most due to 2 levels of parking….meaning that 2nd’ floor is the equivalent of 3rd floor unit in other buildings…..higher elevation means better views.

If the address of this latest listing sounds familiar, it likely is. 650 The Village #108 was on the market for almost a year….from September 2023 to August 2024 at $850,000 and then pulled off. It’s back on the market in late 2025
It is now priced at $880,000 which seems very challenging given the highest sale price of 2025 in The Village for a 1 bedroom was $799,000 for a 2nd floor unit in the 660 building. There is also 650 The Village #108 (same building but lower floor less view) currently for sale at $749,000.

The newest listing to hit the South Redondo market is actually a home coming back on the market. The home was listed for $719,000 earlier this year, but the owners decided to remodel and relist….now at $749,000.

The newest listing in The Village and Seascape condos is a 1st floor unit with a bit of an ocean view in Seascape 3.

The layout is pretty standard for Seascape 3 with angular wall separating the living nd primary, one of the bedrooms to the rear of the unit and the other sitting on the side of the living room with a large balcony extending to both the bedroom and living room. The low location in the building means limited ocean views that are somewhat susceptible to being blocked by trees when not recently trimmed. That said there is some ocean and harbor views to be had and sunsets are still spectacular.
