As we rarely see two bedroom units hit the market in The Village condo buildings, and even fewer that offer this view, it was surprising to see this home on the market as long as it was.  It was originally listed in April for $1,450,000.  Most 2 bedrooms sell quickly so despite the high price it was unusual to see it on the market for almost 6 months.

The views are pretty incredible as it’s high above the pier in front so panoramic ocean, pier and King Harbor views.

The home needed some cosmetic work but some heavy lifting had been done and that said it was just as nice as unit #217 that sold off market in 2023 for $1,350,000 which, in our opinion, was a higher number than we envisioned value being at.

The unit itself is in the 640 building which has the advantage of 2 levels of parking…..meaning the building is a floor higher (or close to) than other buildings meaning views are better compared with other buildings.

#216 was a combination of upgraded and not upgraded with a newer kitchen, opened up floorplan and more….but some older carpet and some unusual paint choices.

What a week it’s been in Seascape 3.  We haven’t seen anything hit the market in months and then 2 very rarely sold townhome units list in the same week.  We mentioned Unit #112 just the other day.  That was the same size but in pretty original condition.  This latest listing…..unit #114 is a flipped unit that we’re very familiar with as it sold twice….just last year.  It was originally sold in it’s very original, and mirror centric self back in March of 2023 for $1,200,000.  It was renovated, remodeled and flipped and returned to the market 4 months later at $1,649,000.  It sold in August 2023 for $1,660,000.

Well now it’s back….this time listed at $1,749,000.  We’ll have to see if the market has increased to the current price in the past 11 months.   

The complex underwent a pretty major update to exteriors, walkways, balconies, etc in 2023 and the complex offers a very nice pool and spa area as well as some nice grassy areas and mature landscaping.

Seascape 3 sits directly behind “The Village” and the Redondo Beach pier and central to everything the beach has to offer.

660 The Village Unit#110 is a partially updated first floor unit with new flooring, updated bathroom vanity and more.  The trade off with first floor units is that although the views are more limited due to elevation in the building, only the first floor units can have hardwood floors….and they also have a much larger deck.

Unit #110 has some upgrades although the kitchen is still original and with only 619 square feet….that’s a pretty important part of the condo.  It’s certainly clean and in good condition but the cabinets, counters and appliances are quite dated compared with the rest of the unit.

As with all Village condos there is a nice deck and the 2nd floor location makes for some nice ocean views.  The deck can be accessed through either the living room or bedroom sliders.
