Welcome to the real estate report for Redondo Beach home sales in October 2021. Take a look at all of the homes that sold in October in both north and south Redondo Beach as well as parts of the Hollywood Riviera. It was a fantastic month for home sales in Redondo Beach CA with a very impressive 97 on market property sales closing. While there have been a few months higher than this over the past few years this is definitely on the very high end and a good indication as to just how strong the real estate market in Redondo Beach continues to be.
The average property “asking” price was $1,370,912 with the average “sales” price at $1,416,929 meaning that homes generally sold WELL above the original listing price. Of the 97 home sales one was in The Village Condos and another was in Seascape 2 (townhome)
Homes averaged only 20 days on the market before going into escrow with an average doller per foot at $848. Compare this with past months on our Redondo Beach real estate statistics and trends page.

It must be something in the air but two of the most recent listings in The Village Condos and Townhomes have both been 2 bedroom units. There are only 2 two bedrooms per floor (compared with 12 one bedroom condos per floor) so in general we rarely see them come available. The latest sale just recently closed at $1,100,000 for a top floor two bedroom. The newest listing is another 2 bedroom in the 620 building and while it’s been beautifully remodeled, the real head turner is the price. Given that the last one sold at $1,100,000 it’s pretty hard to determine where the $1,500,000 price come from on this one. The view are great which is typical of most of the 2 bedrooms (they are always the end units closest to the ocean so they are always the best and most direct views) but it’s hard to see how they’re going to get anywhere in this vicinity. We certainly wish them the best of luck as there are plenty of homeowners in The Village that would love to see a new record set (by hundreds of thousands of dollars). The unit offers 2 bedrooms, 2 baths and just under 950 square feet. Take a look and if interested we would be happy to arrange a private showing.

It was another huge month for home sales in Redondo Beach CA both in terms of the number of homes that sold and home prices. See how September compares with other months on our Redondo Beach real estate trends page.
There were 80 on market home sales which is a very impressive month. The average list price was $1,419,042 with the average sold price at $1,460,956 meaning that homes sold well over asking price.. Homes that sold averaged only 16 days on market before going into escrow.
Of the 80 homes that sold 3 were in Seacape 2 and 3 were on the Esplanade.

The average list price was $1,419,042 with the average sold price at $1,460,956 meaning that homes sold well over asking price.. Homes that sold averaged only 16 days on market before going into escrow. The top sale of the month was a very large single family home at 712 Sapphire that offered 5 bedrooms, 5 baths and just under 4,700 square feet on a huge 9,000+ foot South Redondo lot. The home closed at $3,550,000. The low sale was a 1 bedroom condo in Brookside Village that closed at $475,000. 3 of the sales were in Seascape 2 and 2 of the sales were on the Esplanade.
