We’re usually keenly aware of recent home sales in the Village and Seascape buildings but somehow 140 The Village #101 in Seascape 3 sold quitely.

This condo was listed by Liz Cotton of Re/Max Estate Properties.

The condo was a 2 bedroom 2 bath elevated 1st floor condo located at 140 The Village #101.  The home was somewhat upgraded with newer kitchen and bathroom counters and a few other minor updates.  

The home was orginally listed in Janury of this year at $1,149,000, went into escrow, but then fell out in April.  At that point the price was reduced to $1,099,000 and went into escrow about a week later.  The home sold at $1,099,000.

The amenities in Seascape 2 include a very nice pool and spa deck, small fitness room, on site manager and gated access.

All of this is located just east of the pier and King Harbor and next to Czuleger Park.

May 2024 Real Estate Review – Redondo Beach Home Prices

58 Homes sell in Redondo Beach in May 2024

Average Sold Home Price of $1,608,589

Despite not being quite as impressive as April, May 2024 was a sold month for home sales and home prices in Redondo Beach.

Of the 58 homes that sold there was one sale in Seascape 2 along with a pretty amazing 7 sales on the Esplanade.

There were 58 home, townhome and condo sales compared with 69 in April.  That said the 69 homes that sold in April was the highest number of home sales in a month since June of 2022. 

The average asking price was $1,605,835 with the average sold price at $1,608,589 which again was a healty drop from the  $1,766,921 average sale price in April.

Seascape One 2 bedroom condo

One of the newest additions to the condo market in South Redondo was missed by us when it hit the market as it doesn’t show in area 157 (the “area” number realtors use to specify neighborhood).  

We haven’t been through this one yet and it’s a bit hard to decipher the condition as the photos don’t convey much.  It appears to be a nicely updated and maintained unit but it’s just a bit hard to tell.  The listing also mentions “breathtaking views” but there are no photos of it, so again a bit hard to know.

As mentioned the home appears to have been nicely remodeled.  Some of the highlights include updated kitchen with cherry cabinetry, granite counters, stainly appliances and more.   

Due to the loft style upper level bedroom, the condo offers soaring ceilings in the living room as well as an abundance of natural light.

Both bathrooms have been updated and the home has a nice beachy look and vibe with coastal colors and finishes.   The home also offers a outdoor deck off of the living room.

Seascape One sits just east of King Harbor and the Redondo Beach pier, just off of Czuleger Park and a very short distance to the beach and bikepath.

Seascape 1 has a nice pool and spa area.
