We post alot about home maintenance and getting your home ready to sell, but this weekend we celebrate our real home. We are so fortunate to live at the beach and near the ocean and have the grandeur of nature just outside our windows. If you happen to live in The Village Redondo Beach…..there’s a great event just steps away. What a venue for a fun weekend concert……. The Beachlife Festival is 3 days of music, entertainment and community fun. We had the chance to go on Friday and it was fantastic as always. There is, of course, the music, which covers a lot of genres and there’s definitely something for everyone. There’s plenty of food and craft beer, booths of local companies, game areas with ping pong, and cornhole and more. The event has 4 stages and our favorite is always the lowtide stage as you watch from the sand of Seaside Lagoon so it’s really like a day at the beach. One of the coolest holiday events in the South Bay has to be the annual boat
parade in Redondo Beach’s King Harbor. Some of the boats are elaborately decorated and lit and there’s just something so unique about the experience.
The event takes place on December 11th with various paddle boats, stand up, kayaks and more starting at 4:30 and the boat parade starting at 5:30. The best place to view is always Moonstone Park (see location map below) as it stick well into the harbor.
