It was a great month for home sales and especially home prices in RedondoVillage Redondo Beach ocean view condos. Beach during June.

It was a solid month in terms of the number of homes sold for Redondo Beach real estate with 54 home sales in June compared with 62 in May.

Prices were impressive to say the least!  The average “listing” price was $1,594,072 with the average sold price at $1,629,221 meaning that once again homes generally sold above the list price.

So much for interest rates slowing the Redondo Beach real estate market.

The average price per foot of the sold homes was $972 a square foot which was $110 more then in May.  Homes that sold averaged only 26 days on market before going pending.

Only one of the homes that sold was in the Village.  640 The Village #109 Redondo Beach which was a first floor one bedroom, was listed for and sold at $750,000.

The top sale of the month was a beautiful single family home located at 1062 Avenue C in South Redondo that sold at $3,805,000.

Welcome to the February recap for home sales and home prices in Redondo Beach

February was another slower month for Redondo Beach real estate with only 33 homes closing escrow….but that was a big improvement from the record low 21 in January.

The average “asking” price was $1,396,724 with the average sold price at $1,383,197 which meant that homes generally sold below the asking price.  

Homes averaged $858 a square foot and 48 days on market before going into escrow.

One of the sales was in The Village and another sale in Seascape 3.

Redondo Beach Home Sales and House Prices for September

It was another very impressive month for home sales in Redondo Beach CA both in terms of the number of homes that sold and home prices. See how September compares with other months on our Redondo Beach real estate trends page.

There were 80 homes that sold on the MLS which made for a very impressive month.   The average list price was $1,419,042 with the average sold price at $1,460,956 meaning that homes sold well over asking price.. Homes that sold averaged only 16 days on market before going into escrow.  The top sale of the month was a very large single family home at 712 Sapphire that offered 5 bedrooms, 5 baths and just under 4,700 square feet on a huge 9,000+ foot South Redondo lot. The home closed at $3,550,000. The low sale was a 1 bedroom condo in Brookside Village that closed at $475,000.  3 of the sales were in Seascape 2 and 2 of the sales were on the Esplanade.
