The latest sale in Seascape 2 was actually a townhome and not the usual single level condo.  The townhomes of Seascape 2 don’t come up all that often and this one was definitely unlike anything that has sold in the past. The home was on the market for a long time and was originally listed in April of 2023 for $1,799,000.   The new owner had done a MAJOR remodel and split one of the bedrooms into 2 bedrooms making this one really unique and very beautiful.  Having said that they had only bought the home in June of 2022 for $1,300,000 so the ask of almost $1.8M was never going to happen. It reduced the price a few times over the months and eventually was pulled off and then relisted by another agent at $1,699,000 and closed not long after at $1,650,000.  That’s still a VERY impressive price so congrats to all involved. The home had undergone an almost complete transformation after it sold in 2022 and had the look and feel of a luxury hotel. There are partial water views from both levels. Seascape 2 has some nice amenities including an oceanview pool and jacuzzi deck as well as a small fitness center. Rare 2 bedroom townhome style home in The Village sells off market

We’re not clear on some of the details as this home wasn’t on the market, but it appears that this rarely seen townhome sold in mid August.  It doesn’t appear to be an same among family due to the names of the buyer and seller so it appears to be a legit sale.

The townhomes are pretty rare in The Village and the 2 bedroom units offer a nice open layout with living, dining and kitchen on the first floor and bedrooms up top.  The only problem with the layout is that sometimes the bedrooms have nice ocean views but the living level doesn’t which is true with 685 The Village.

The home last sold in 2020 at $901,000 and the market has certainly gone up since then so we’re not sure why the price of $871,000 as there are even one bedroom condos selling in that general price range these days.  When the home sold in 2020 it was in very nice condition with an updated kitchen, stainless appliances, newer paint and more.
