If the address of this latest listing sounds familiar, it likely is.  650 The Village #108 was on the market for almost a year….from September 2023 to August 2024 at $850,000 and then pulled off.  It’s back on the market in late 2025 

It is now priced at $880,000 which seems very challenging given the highest sale price of 2025 in The Village for a 1 bedroom was $799,000 for a 2nd floor unit in the 660 building.  There is also 650 The Village #108 (same building but lower floor less view)  currently for sale at $749,000.

650 The Village #208 is listed by Curtiss Dowdell.

There is currently no listing description but based on the photos and our past tour, the home is in good shape with some updating done in the kitchen and bathroom.  The view from the second level is a bit better than the photos convey but it is towards the rear of the building.

The Village has a nice pool and spa area but also has access to the resort level facilities of the adjacent Ocean Club including fitness center, pool and spa, deli/market and harbor view outdoor deck.

2 new listings in 2 days in the Village with another lisiting hitting the market in Seascape 2 and two new condos listed in Seascape 1.  What a week!

660 The Village Unit#110 is a partially updated first floor unit with new flooring, updated bathroom vanity and more.  The trade off with first floor units is that although the views are more limited due to elevation in the building, only the first floor units can have hardwood floors….and they also have a much larger deck.

Unit #110 has some upgrades although the kitchen is still original and with only 619 square feet….that’s a pretty important part of the condo.  It’s certainly clean and in good condition but the cabinets, counters and appliances are quite dated compared with the rest of the unit.

As with all Village condos there is a nice deck and the 2nd floor location makes for some nice ocean views.  The deck can be accessed through either the living room or bedroom sliders.

The Village in Redondo Beach has some great amenities as it not only has an “owners” pool, spa and firepit, but has access to the facilities at the neighboring rental complex of Ocean Club including a resort style oceanview pool and spa, deli/restaurant, fitness center and more.

We’re usually keenly aware of recent home sales in the Village and Seascape buildings but somehow 140 The Village #101 in Seascape 3 sold quitely.

This condo was listed by Liz Cotton of Re/Max Estate Properties.

The condo was a 2 bedroom 2 bath elevated 1st floor condo located at 140 The Village #101.  The home was somewhat upgraded with newer kitchen and bathroom counters and a few other minor updates.  

The home was orginally listed in Janury of this year at $1,149,000, went into escrow, but then fell out in April.  At that point the price was reduced to $1,099,000 and went into escrow about a week later.  The home sold at $1,099,000.

The amenities in Seascape 2 include a very nice pool and spa deck, small fitness room, on site manager and gated access.

All of this is located just east of the pier and King Harbor and next to Czuleger Park.

One of the newest additions to the condo market in South Redondo was missed by us when it hit the market as it doesn’t show in area 157 (the “area” number realtors use to specify neighborhood).  

We haven’t been through this one yet and it’s a bit hard to decipher the condition as the photos don’t convey much.  It appears to be a nicely updated and maintained unit but it’s just a bit hard to tell.  The listing also mentions “breathtaking views” but there are no photos of it, so again a bit hard to know.

As mentioned the home appears to have been nicely remodeled.  Some of the highlights include updated kitchen with cherry cabinetry, granite counters, stainly appliances and more.   

Due to the loft style upper level bedroom, the condo offers soaring ceilings in the living room as well as an abundance of natural light.

Both bathrooms have been updated and the home has a nice beachy look and vibe with coastal colors and finishes.   The home also offers a outdoor deck off of the living room.

Seascape One sits just east of King Harbor and the Redondo Beach pier, just off of Czuleger Park and a very short distance to the beach and bikepath.

New 2 Bedroom Oceanview Condo at 520 The Village

The newest addition to the oceanview condo market in Redondo Beach CA is 2 bedroom 2nd floor condo located in Seascape 3 at 520520 The Village #213 Redondo Beach ocean views. The Village.  Although it’s a bit dated with tile countertops and older cabinets in the bathrooms, it’s in very nice condition.  It’s an end unit so the great news is that it has extra windows making for a very bright interior…..the downside is that it’s the unit closest to fairly busy Catalina Ave so it’s a bit busy out the back bedroom window.  It has a decent ocean view from the balcony but no real view from inside the unit.  HOAs are always high in Seascape 3 and there’s an approximately $50K per unit special assessment that the seller isn’t planning on paying so that needs to be factored into value.
