1st Floor One Bed Condo in The Village Sells for $750,000
640 The Village #109, Redondo Beach, CA 90277
1st floor condo in The Village sells for $750,000
There hasn’t been too much sales or listing activity lately in The Village and the only home sale in June was at 640 The Village #109. This was a first floor unit but as we’ve mentioned in the past the 630 and 640 buildings have two levels of parking underneath so the levels are higher than in other buildings.
We’re not aware of the whole story but the home basically sold off market. It only shows 2 days on market, sold at list price and agent represented buyer and seller so we’re assuming that it being on the MLS at all was due to a contractual obligation.
The condo was very nicely remodeled with a great beach look an feel.

610 – 660 The Village. The rarer ones are in the townhome buildings. These consist of both multi level townhomes as well as single level condos below which are pretty rare. They were originally built as studios but most have been converted to 1 bedroom units. While rare there are actually two on the market at the moment. 680 The Village is priced at $750,000 which will be a good indication of where the market is currently at and whether things have cooled a bit. The last sale of a similar unit was the same price toward the end of 2021. At $750,000 it’s drastically less than the other
complexes was a 2 bedroom first floor unit in Seascape 3. There hasn’t been much on the market lately and this is one of the only homes that have sold in a little while. The condo was nice and clean but needed some updating and had a bit of an original feel. The views were decent although certainly a concern that they could be partially blocked by trees or the future Redondo Pier redevelopement….if and when that ever happens. The home was listed at $995,000 and had several offers and closed at $1,150,000 to an all cash buyer.
