The Village and Seascape Redondo – 2018 Real Estate Year in Review

2018 was a great year for home sales in the ocean view condo complexes of The Village and Seascapes One, Two and Three.  The majority of the sales were in The Village complex with the addresses in the 600s.  There were 23 on market home sales during the year with the majority being in the Village.  Of the 23 sales there were 10 homes sold in The Village (600 buildings) followed by 6 in Seascape Two (100 The Village addresses) 4 in Seascape One (200 The Village addresses) and only one sale in Seascape 3.  The two lowest priced sales were 410 foot studios in The Village that both sold at $460,000 and the highest sale of the year was a 1,557 foot 2 bedroom in Seascape 3 with nice ocean views that closed at $934,000.

What’s for sale currently?

Is the real estate market in the oceanview condos of The Village in Redondo Beach finally cooling off?The Village owners pool

The one bedroom Village condos in Redondo Beach are a great indicator of the South Redondo real estate market over time as the units are all the same size and configuration. The ocean views make a big difference as well as the floor it’s on, but in general the units are pretty similar.
