Big Ocean Views from This Top Floor 2 Bedroom Condo in The Village

If big ocean views work for you…..and honestly who doesn’t like big ocean views…..610 The Village #317 might be just what you’reThe Village condos Redondo Beach looking for.  It’s been a while since we’ve seen a 2 bedoom condo hit the market in The Village and as this one’s a top floor unit meaning views just don’t get much better. Due to the layout and configuration of the buildings in The Village (600 addresses) each floor only has two 2 bedroom units so they just don’t come available very often.

With a 3rd floor location it means it’s just about as close to the water as the condos get. The units are just a bit under 1,000 square feet and have a nice open layout. As with all of The Village the grounds and amenities, including the use of the neighboring Ocean Club facilities, are fantastic.

Redondo Beach Review – August Home Sales and Property Prices

Welcome to the real estate overview for August 2021 for homes in Redondo Beach California.  It was a fantastic month for the the number of homes that sold along with the prices. There were 82 on market home sales. The average list price was $1,330,821 with the average sales price of $1,385,527 meaning homes sold WAY above the asking price. Homes averaged only 17 days on market before going into escrow and the average price per foot was $783.

3 of the sales were in The Village or Seascape complexes.

Rare Studio in Seascape One Lowers Price to $590,000

There aren’t many studios that hit the market in general but it’s definitely been a long time since we’ve seen one for sale in Seascape 2.  This unit was beautifully redone and offers a pretty spacious amount of square footage at 577 ft compared with the more common (somewhat) studios in the Village that only have 410 square feet.  It’s been on the market for almost 2 months at this point but just reduced the price.  It’s an east facing unit (only Seascape One has east facing units) so it doesn’t offer any views.

The newest listing in The Village is a first floor one bedroom in the 660 building priced at $675,000.  This is a really big number for a first floor unit, but due to the location on the south side of the 660 building (which is the furthest south with no other buildings blocking the view) it actually has a better view than many of the 2 floor condos in the complex.  The condo is nicely remodeled and in great shape.  One benefit to the first floor location is that it’s the only floor that allows hardwood floors due to nobody being below.  We’ll have to see if they can get close to this near record setting price.
